Deep vein thrombosis is when blood clots form inside a vein, usually in the lower leg or thighs. How is it caused?
People who use computers for a long period of time without any breaks may have this illness because when you don't move and sit with the same position for hours, the blood thickens and bunches together. The loose clot, embolus breaks off and travels around the bloodstream and occasionally travels through lungs and block the blood from flowing. This condition is called pulmonary embolism, and this may damage lungs and other organs and in serious cases, cause death. |
How does it affect our body?This health issue can affect our body fatally because it can block the artery and making issues in delivering blood. It can cause someone to die since the oxygen inside the blood cells are vital for human, but when that transmit fails humans can die if not treated immediately. Also, even though you are treated, doesn't mean you are safe. There are risks of having deep vein thrombosis again and put you in a dangerous situation. So deep vein thrombosis affects our health between life and death but of course, due to what caused the blood clot and where it is.
